What it is named after the wonderful album by Low (who use at least one of these pedals....). This thing is just nuts. We don't really know what it's doing; it has two gain stages, neither of which really acts like a gain stage. One acts like a bitcrusher that bleeds clock signal, and the other acts like a perverted tone control. There's a master volume out (which is really handy), and a battery starve knob.

You can go from a pretty straight fuzz sound (which loves a bassier input but works on any guitar) to making the most unbelievable noises. It should be noted that at certain settings you switches and pots on your guitar can actually be used to invoke all kinds of musically useful analog synth growls through to massive kick drums. Mr. Dwarfcraft really pulled out the stops on this one.
