AmpegĀ® Reverberocket - Vintage

Most of the early Reverberockets that you see have the blue diamond tolex that they use on the reissues. This is an earlier, much rarer model that has the random navy flair tolex. Take a close look at the pictures. This means that the amp is almost certainly from the latter part of 1961, which was their year of this model's introduction; the tolex was changed for 1962 (I remember it well).

It has 6SL7s and 6SN7s in the preamp stage, a 5Y3 tube rectifier and two 6V6 tubes in the power stage. It has a single tone control, reverb (which is called 'echo' and tremolo (speed and intensity) as well as a foot pedal to control both. This was the first comercially available amp with reverb. All in all, not only is this a great sounding amp but it is a rare vintage piece as well. It has a few scuffs as you would expect for something that is close to 50 years old, and the handle is a replacement, but it is generally in good condition.
