Moollon® Narcis Lotus - Sold

it is a combination of factors that contribute to the sound you hear coming from this guitar. First off, it has the Moollon Standard Humbuckers in it, which Moollon hand-wind to very early Gibson HB specifications (usually running between 7.5k to 8.0k resistance), which give them a very resonant vintage quality coupled with lively single coil-like dynamics and chime. They blend particularly well with the alloy metal top, which actually fattens up the tone that the pickups and body work produce. A paticular quality of the top, beyond the beautiful engraving, is the superior shielding that it provides. The alder body was hand-selected and matched for the maple neck which has a Madagascar kingwood fingerboard (closely possessing the characteristics of Brazilian rosewood). All of these factors were mated to the specfic model of pickup used, which are half-potted. All this combines to produce what you hear from the instrument: a gentle highlight to the midrange of a guitar that has some of the strength and punch of an early Les Paul whilst retaining some of the chime of a '50s Telecaster.
