AnalogMan® Mini Chorus (with mix control) - Sold

The Mini Chorus is the same as AnalogMan's normal chorus, but in a smaller, hand stamped box.

This has both battery and 9/12/18V DC adaptor jack standard, and the same board inside for the same sounds as the normal Chorus. It is a great, simple, small chorus pedal with awesome tone. The version we carry comes with an external mix knob. It has true bypass and a depth knob which allows any setting from no chorus to full-on chorus. The mix control determines the amount of chorusing coming through, whereas the depth control determines how much pitch variation there is on the chorus. With this control configuration you can get the two classic chorus settings: medium depth/high speed for a Leslie simulation, and high depth/low speed for a rich, thick chorusing.

Why does the AnalogMan chorus sound better than the others that are made today? The total harmonic distortion at a certain input voltage level for the chips that AnalogMan use, the MN3007, is 0.78V RMS. For the MN3207, which is what just about everyone else uses, is 0.25V RMS. This means that their MN3007  can take a much higher input signal level, which means much more dynamic range, and less noise. Higher quality components mean higher quality sound.
