Ampeg® M-15 1 x 15 - Sold

This is a 1962 Ampeg "Big M" M-15. Although it has a 15" speaker, a Jensen P15N, this amp was never meant for bass but was designed for guitar and accordion (back in the day when an accordion player was a key ingredient of a rock and roll lineup). The tubes are: 5U4 rectifier, two 6L6s and three 6SL7s. The amp has a full 6 inputs: channel one has 3 inputs, channel two has 2 inputs plus one stereo input which hits both channels (so you, your accordionist, your bass player, your mom and your dog can all plug into this amp at the same time). The Tremolo is killer. This is a great little amp that has regularly been paired up with a Telecaster. Ampegs tend to be darker sounding than Fenders and this amp makes a neat team with sharp Tele.
