Fender® Jazz '62 Reissue, Sunburst - Sold

This bass is from 1982, the first year that Fender produced their domestic reissue of the legendary 1962 J. So while this is a reissue model, it is still a vntage piece in its own right. All the regular Jazz bass features adorn this instrument; groove-cut saddles, concentric pots, shell plate, Gotoh copy Kluson reverse gears and so on. As you can see in the many very detailed pictures, this guitar has all the playing wear that you might expect from a real 1962 model. the finish is dinged and chipped from extensive playing. The arm wear is authentic as is the beautiful checking. This is like a relic that has been worked on for over twenty five years but for substantially less than the price of relic.
