Gretsch® Half Curve 1958 - Sold

This is an all-original 1958 Gretsch amp. It has just been serviced and is in perfect working order. As you will see from the pictures, the amp is in pretty good physical shape as well for something over 50 years old. It has three inputs (two instrument, one microphone) one on/off/volume and one tone control. With an 8" speaker you are not going to compete with a drummer, however, powered byt two 6V6s and a singel 12AX7, it does have a glorious overdriven sound at just modest volumes and, if you thought you might want to put a boost in front of this amp (like a Super Hard-On perhaps), you would be rewarded with some of the most magnificent creamy buzzing noises you could imagine. A real piece of history.
