Guild® GSR D-40 Noir, Black - Sold

With its deep-black lacquer finish and elegant cosmetic appointments, the stunning GSR D-40 Noir grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. Built on Guild’s classic dreadnought-style design, the D-40 Noir delivers all the strong, balanced and articulate sound that Guild dreadnought guitars are famous for, with a style all its own.

The premium Engelmann spruce top produces a rich, complex tone, while the genuine mahogany back and sides bring punch and depth to the D-40 Noir’s unique voice. The onboard D-TAR® Multi-Source™ pickup system features a built-in condenser mic that can be blended with the under-saddle pickup to capture every nuance and produce a natural amplified sound.

Other special features include an ebony fingerboard and bridge; ivoroid body, neck and headstock binding; abalone rosette and top purfling; ebony headcap with mother-of-pearl “Vintage G” logo; mother-of-pearl block position inlays with 12th-fret abalone “G” inlay; bone nut and saddle and “Parisian eye” bone bridge pins.
