GibsonĀ® ES-325 TD 1976, Cherry - Sold

Produced between 1972 and 1979 this model is not one of the better known Gibson guitars. It was not made in great numbers and so now is quite rare. It has an ES-335-style body but with only one f-hole. The original white-bound maple body has aged to a yellow cream. The maple neck with volute joins the body at the19th fret; it has 22 frets and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. There are two mini humbucking pickups, providing a somewhat lighter sound than traditional humbuckers. The black semi-circle control plate has a 3-way toggle pickup selector, 2 volume and 2 tone controls. The bridge is an ABR1 tune-o-matic unit with trapeze tailpiece. The tuners are double-ring Keystone (Gibson Deluxe). The lower bout measures16" and the body depth is 1 3/4", it has a 24 3/4" scale length with a narrow 19/16" nut.

As you can see from the pictures there is a reasonable amount of wear, as might be expected on a guitar from this period. But the structure is sound and the guitar plays well. A vintage Gibson for not much money.
