Epiphone® Century, Sunburst - Sold

This Epiphone model, originally introduced as far back as 1939. This one was manufactured by then owners Gibson in 1964. The Century had been in continuous production for all this time and remained in the line until 1970. The specifications of this particular instrument are as follows:

  • 16 3/8" wide non-cutaway thin body
  • 1 P90 pickup
  • 25 1/2" scale
  • Sunburst finish
  • Dot markers
  • Top and bottom bound body
  • Single volume and tone control

The original bridge has been replaced with a Tun-o-matic model but the original is included with the guitar. Otherwise the guitar is in fairly good shape. The headstock is a bit chewn around the edges and there are a few dings here and there as you can see in the many detailed pictures. But the guitar is sound, stays in tune and plays well. As you would expect, the guitar has checked nicely: a fine vintage piece at a still-affordable price.
