With the blueSky reverb, Strymon have taken a super-powerful SHARC DSP chip and dedicated it to doing one thing only… making the best reverb ever. So the reverbs are lush and beautiful; quality that has never before been found in a pedal. Whether you are a fan of classic spring reverb or a studio rack aficionado, you’ll find your mojo here. The blueSky would be equally at home on top of a mixer or in front of a tube amp. Strymon have even thrown in a plate, unusual in a pedal form factor but extremely useful, versatile and unique-sounding. A full pre-delay and damping section provide deep reverb tone shaping. Add to that modulation and shimmer modes and this pedal ends up doing things you will not have seen in a guitar effect. The shimmer mode set towards full is worth the price of admission alone, providing harmonic overtones that can ring on for days.
